Part 1, July 22, 2018"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/mzgtiglobal.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/1_MSUBAmLITCysbGdHOEOV0A.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1949\" src=\"https:\/\/mzgtiglobal.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/1_MSUBAmLITCysbGdHOEOV0A.jpg\" alt=\"1_MSUBAmLITCysbGdHOEOV0A\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mzgtiglobal.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/1_MSUBAmLITCysbGdHOEOV0A.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/mzgtiglobal.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/1_MSUBAmLITCysbGdHOEOV0A-300x168.jpg 300w, https:\/\/mzgtiglobal.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/1_MSUBAmLITCysbGdHOEOV0A-1024x576.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Central Thought:<\/h2>\n<p>God dwells in the praises of His people.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Text: 1 Chronicles 16:7-14<\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>Introduction:<\/h4>\n<p>To praise is to say or write good things about someone.\u00a0 It is to express thanks, love or respect for God.\u00a0 Praise commends, glorifies, exalts, celebrates, laud, worships or magnifies, especially by the attribution of perfections.\u00a0 God has awesome attributes which impacts the lives of men on earth.\u00a0 He is the creator of man, who sent man into the world to emancipate and bear fruits.\u00a0 He watches over man and influences his life in diverse ways such as in protection, provision, promotion, preservation and salvation. \u00a0He gives grace to those who please Him and these are those who honor Him with praises, Psalm 50:23. \u00a0For man to get he best from God, he must praise Him for His goodness.\u00a0 Even then, God has shown that He created man for His own glory, Isaiah 43:7.\u00a0 We should not forget that God is in everything that affects us to ensure that it ends in our good, Romans 8:28.\u00a0 Man is obligated, therefore, to habitually praise God.\u00a0 It is no surprise that David requested God to open his lips so that he could praise Him more and more, Psalm 51:15.\u00a0 Praising God should be expressive and demonstrable, which should easily evolve from how much God means to us.<\/p>\n<p>Him and these are those who honor Him with praises<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>Lesson Objectives:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>To understand why we should praise God.<\/li>\n<li>To identify those that are to praise God.<\/li>\n<li>To know where we can praise God.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>Bible Truth:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>\n<h5>Why should we praise God?<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Praise is delightful and shows appreciation and approval.\u00a0 It is motivational and impresses for further favorable action.\u00a0 For instance, \u201cwhen a man\u2019s ways pleases the Lord, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him\u201d, Proverbs 16:7.\u00a0 Again, in the pleasure of God, He has bequeathed His Kingdom to His faithful ones, Luke 12:32.\u00a0 Because Jesus Christ always did what was pleasing to God, so could confess that the Father ever stood by Him, John 8:29.\u00a0 We should expect God to be motivated to do good to us if we please Him through praise.\u00a0 Specifically, we praise God for the following reasons:<\/p>\n<p><span><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">-He Created and Established Us, Psalm 148:5-6:<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span>Without Him we would not be alive nor would we be what we are today.<\/p>\n<p><span><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">-For His Attributes:<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span>His majesty and glory, Exodus 15:11<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">-His Omniscience, Isaiah 46:10:<\/span>\u00a0 He declared the end from the beginning; and Ephesians 1:4, He chose us in Christ before the foundation of the world.<\/p>\n<p><span><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">-His Exclusiveness, Isaiah 45:5-7:<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span>He is unique. \u00a0There is no one like Him, nor can any act like Him.\u00a0 He thus cannot give His glory to any other or His praise to graven images, Isaiah 42:8.\u00a0 No one can restrain God.<\/p>\n<p><span><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">-For His Goodness and Love, Psalm 107:15-16:<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span>He satisfies man with His love.<\/p>\n<p><span><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">-For His faithfulness, 1 Chronicles 16:15-17:<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span>He is faithful to His covenant.\u00a0 When He promises, He perfects it, 1 Thessalonians 5:24.\u00a0 He does not lie nor does He change His mind on any issue, Numbers 23:19.<\/p>\n<p><span><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">-For His Mighty Works, Deuteronomy 8:10; Luke 19:37:<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span>His works means favor and goodness to man.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">-For His Pleasure in His People, Psalm 149:4:<\/span>\u00a0 He delights in His people such that it gives Him pleasure to do them good.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span>-For His Special Privileges for the Believer, 1 Peter 2:9-10:<\/span><\/span>\u00a0 The Christian is peculiarly God\u2019s own, chosen like the Levite, to offer continually spiritual worship acceptable to God.\u00a0 God does not neglect His faithful servants.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">-For His Greatness, 1 Chronicles 29:10-14:<\/span>\u00a0 God should be appreciated for His awesome greatness, power, glory, victory, majesty and favors.\u00a0 We are nothing before Him: yet He honors us with riches, positions, and general supplies.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">-It is Fit and Proper to Praise God, Psalm 147:1:<\/span>\u00a0 For all that God is to man, He deserves our praise.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li>\n<h5>Who are those to praise God?<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Anyone touched by the goodness of God should show gratitude and so praise Him.\u00a0 The following are mentioned in Scriptures:<\/p>\n<p>-The great and small, Plasm 48:11-13.<\/p>\n<p>-Babes, Matthew 21:16.<\/p>\n<p>-All nations, Psalm 117<\/p>\n<p>-The angels, Psalm 103:20<\/p>\n<p>-The Christian, 1 Chronicles 16:13, Psalm 30:4:\u00a0 All the elect of God who have chosen the way of Christ.<\/p>\n<p>-Those how fear God, Revelation 19:5.<\/p>\n<p>-Those who appreciate God, Luke 2:20: who have seen and heard about the work of the Lord.<\/p>\n<p>-All living things, Psalm 150:6.<\/p>\n<p>-All Nature, Psalm 148:1-9.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li>\n<h5>Where can we praise God?<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>A. In the congregation of the people and in the assembly of the elders. Psalm 107:32, 40:9-10, 111:1<\/p>\n<p>B. Everywhere and anywhere. Whenever the goodness of God touches our mind, we should offer praises immediately. Psalm 119:164.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Daily Living Application:<\/h3>\n<p>Praise is saying or writing good things about someone.
