Thanksgiving is an expression of gratitude to God for all of His benefits.<\/p>\n
Psalm 100:4; Romans 12:1-3; Ephesians 5:19-20; Philippians 4:6; 1 Thessalonians 5:18<\/p>\n
It is important that each one of us answer the questions: \u201cAm I thankful to God? Does this reflect in the way I live?\u00a0 Does it show in unfeigned dedication to God\u2019s service and His people?\u201d\u00a0 What is apparent is that while it is appropriate to sincerely offer thanks to God at a designated service, God requires much more from us.\u00a0 He expects that all we are, say and do should flow daily from heartfelt gratitude for all He has done for us in Christ Jesus.\u00a0 It is also obvious that offering thanksgiving to God has nothing to do with impressing our pleasing men.\u00a0 Those whose desire always is to please men must realize that they cannot earn God\u2019s approval.<\/p>\n
Ephesians 5:20 \u2013 \u201c. . . . giving thanks always for all things to God the father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.\u201d<\/p>\n
