Pilate found no fault in Jesus but to satisfy the Jews he had Jesus whipped. They put a crown of thorns on His head and a purple robe on his shoulder. Jesus suffered this bad treatment because of his Love for you and me. The Chief priests were not satisfied and so they cried out that Jesus should be crucified. Pilate was torn between either letting justice prevail as there was no fault found in Jesus, or pleasing the Jews. Pilate gave and delivered Jesus to the Jews to be crucified.
- Verse 15: But they cried out, ____________with him, away with him, _________________him.
We should always show appreciation for what Jesus did for us. We should live sin free lives so that we do not “crucify Jesus over and over again”. Make up your mind to “Flee from all appearances of evil”.
