Greeting brethren, greetings in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. We thank God for bringing us to the midway mark of 2020. So much has happened but if you are reading this the Lord has kept you.
Every year CGMI-NY sets aside the month of July strictly for praying and fasting. We can see that the times that we are in call for fasting and prayer.
This years theme is taken from the book of Jeremiah 1:9-10.
Then the LORD put forth His hand and touched my mouth, and the LORD said to me:
“Behold, I have put My words in your mouth.
See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms,
To root out and to pull down,
To destroy and to throw down,
To build and to plant.”
Join us this month as we eagerly enter into the month of July Praying and fasting. Praying under the guidance of the Holy Spirit and as the Holy Spirit leads. Our prayer points this month is that the Lord will:
1.) Root Out (every plant that my heavenly father has not planted, Matthew 15:13).
2.) Pull down (every high thing that wants to exalt itself above God, 2 Corinthians 10:3-5).
3.) To destroy (every work of Satan, 1 John 3:8).
4.) To throw down (every demonic altar that has been established in your lineage, Judges 6:25-29).
5.) To build (your future, your altar to God, 2 Samuel 24:25).
6.) To plant (seeds of righteousness, power etc., 2 Corinthians 9:10).
Let us not be deceived, we are in an all our war with the Kingdom of darkness. Take a look at all that went on this year thus far. We know that the enemy is planning however “He (the Lord) disappointeth the devices of the crafty, so that their hands cannot perform their enterprise”. Job 5:12.
“Wherefore thus saith the LORD God of hosts, Because ye speak this word, behold, I will make my words in thy mouth fire, and this people wood, and it shall devour them”. The Lord will make your enemies “to hear a noise of chariots, and a noise of horses, even the noise of a great host” as he magnified the sound of the 4 lepers (2 Kings 7:6).
“Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?” Jeremiah 23:29
Isaiah 44:24-25
Thus saith the Lord, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the Lord that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself; That frustrateth the tokens of the liars, and maketh diviners mad; that turneth wise men backward, and maketh their knowledge foolish”.
May the Lord put to shame every plan that the enemy has planned surrounding your life.
